The brackets are 25mm in width are 6mm in thickness and have 3 countersunk fixing holes of 6mm in diameter on each leg of the right angle bracket for securing to the wall and to the underside of the shelf. Brackets have a weight capacity of up to 100kg per pair (spaced at 60cm or less centres) when fitted to a good condition brick/masonry type wall using the appropriate fixings or onto the wooden stud in a cavity wall, again selecting screws and wall plugs that are commensurate with the weight capacity of the brackets and shelves being installed. Your shelf should be screw fitted to the horizontal leg of the bracket for added safety to the installation.
