Floating shelf to support suit most audio equipment, features a small cut out in the rear edge of the shelf to run cables. Shelf size is 900x300 deep x 50mm in thickness, available on this website in high gloss black or high gloss white painted polyurethane finish. Wall mounting bracket is included plus all screws and plugs for fitting to solid brick/cement walls. Weight capacity will be a maximum of up to 12kg of evenly distributed load on the shelf if fitted to gyprock wall using only hollow wall fixings. Weight capacity can be up to 20kg of evenly distributed load when fitted correctly to good condition solid/brick/concrete walls, or if fitted into the studs in a hollow cavity type wall. Extra holes can be drilled into bracket base if required to coincide with stud positioning. (highly recommended). Small cut out in the rear of shelf to run small cables through. This floating shelf can be fitted to hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here . Minimum of 5 are required per shelf. Weight capacity can be up to 12kg of evenly spread load when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW3 wall anchors . We do not recommend wall mates brand hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets to gyprock walls. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. Your installer must check this before fitting the shelf to the wall bracket.
