Floating Shelves Matte White 1200x250x38mm (Double Deal)

We do not recommend wall mates type hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets to gyprock/drywall sheet. Each shelf in this double deal is 1200 x 250 x 38mm in thickness, finished in matte white paint with the 63cm long brackets included and all the fixings for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. Weight capacity of up to 15kg of evenly distributed load on each shelf when fitted correctly into good condition solid/brick walls using the correct fixings or if fitted directly into the wooden studs in a hollow cavity type wall.(extra holes can be drilled into the bracket base to coincide with stud position as required), (highly recommended). These floating shelves can be fitted to hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here. Minimum of 5 are required per shelf. The weight capacity of the shelves would then be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting but expect up to 10kg of evenly distributed load when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended wall fixings to suit the wall type. HW3 fixing here. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. Your installer must check this before fitting the shelf to the fitted bracket.
