The shelf size is 1200 x 250 x 38mm thickness, with the bracket included and all the fixings for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. Weight capacity of up to 15kg of evenly distributed load on the shelf when fitted correctly into good condition solid/brick walls using the correct fixings or if fitted directly into the wooden studs in a hollow cavity type wall.(extra holes can be drilled into the bracket base to coincide with stud position as required), (recommended). This floating shelf is polyurethane painted giving it a high quality visual finish so there are no unsightly visible laminate joints between the junctions of front face and top or bottom of the floating shelf. This floating shelf can be fitted to hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here. Minimum of 5 are required per shelf. The weight capacity of the shelf would then be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting but expect up to 10kg of evenly distributed load when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW3 wall anchors. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. Your installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the bracket.
