Stylish, thinner lighter duty floating shelf with an angled (beveled leading edge), the shelf size is 800x200x32mm in thickness. Bracket here is included , plus the screws and plugs are supplied for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. The quoted weight capacity of up to 10kg is only achieved when fitted correctly to solid brick type walls, or into the wooden studs in a cavity type wall. (extra holes can be drilled into the bracket to line up with stud positions, highly recommended ) See the close up detail of beveled edge profile and note the shelf is only 3.2 cm in thickness which gives a very slimline and minimalist look. Fit to gyprock cavity type walls using the Hollow wall fixings available here . Use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf, see below). If fitting only into gyprock sheet, the weight capacity of the shelf will be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting but expect up to 5kg of evenly spread load on the shelf when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended fixings to suit the wall type. We do not recommend wall mates type hollow wall anchors for installing floating shelf brackets. Correctly installed floating shelf brackets will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer should check this when the bracket has been installed onto the wall surface.
