Lighter duty, stylish small beveled edge floating shelf is 45cm wide x 20cm deep x 32mm thick. The best weight capacity is achieved when fitting correctly to a good condition brick/cement type wall or into wooden studs in a cavity wall if they are positioned to suit the shelf bracket . Extra fixing holes can be drilled into the bracket base to coincide with wall stud positions (recommended). Bracket supplied and all wall fixings are included for fitting to a brick/cement type wall. If fitting to gyprock sheet high quality hollow wall fixings which are available here , use a minimum of 5 per shelf. Expect up to 5kg weight capacity of evenly distributed load on the shelf when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended wall fixings to suit the wall type. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods.
