The floating shelf can also be fitted to cavity gyprock walls using these hollow wall anchors here. Use 2 per bracket so 4 per shelf. Weight capacity would then be dependent on the strength of the gyprock wall sheeting, but expect up to 10kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW4 anchors . A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf to the brackets.
